This list is for the discussion of sociocracy, a method of governance that can be used in all organizations, large or small, public or private. It is based on the equivalence of all members and uses consent decision-making for setting policy and in the assignment of roles and responsibilities to individual members.

Sociocracy is a method of governance, not an ideology. Please limit postings to questions and and sharing information directly related to sociocracy -- its methods and principles, its applications, its literature, and the community of people learning and applying its methods.

List members include many with little familiarity with sociocracy, others becoming trainers in sociocracy, and many who are experts with years of training experience. List members are also an international group and English is not the primary language of everyone. When posting, please be tolerant of language differences and clarify meanings when necessary.
