I believe such thermophilic bacteria have already been found.
Spores require higher than 212 F to kill; this is why pressure cookers are used
for canning food other than acidic fruits.
Ozone will kill spores. It is generated with electicity, which can be obtained
from solar photovoltaic arrays. Ozone in sufficient dose should deactivate
prions, in theory but I'm not sure. Semi-permeable membranes will filter out
viruses... but they are expensive and use a lot of energy to run.
