Thanks, Bob.
Regarding your uncertainty about the solar box cooker fitting into this program,
the site says:
"What generating systems are eligible?
Photovoltaics (PV) -- solar cells that convert sunlight directly to
electricity.
Small Wind Turbines -- wind turbines with an output of 10 kilowatts or
less.
Fuel Cells -- devices that use a chemical process to convert renewable
fuels into electricity.
Solar Thermal Systems -- systems that use solar heat to generate
electricity. "
Looks like the solar powered microwave would be the cooker that fits in. What
they are talking about is small systems that tie into the grid, usually using an
inverter designed for the purpose. Distributed generating capacity as mentioned
in an earlier post.

Subject: Rebates for alternate energy installations
Hello All:
In California there's a State program to promote installing alternate energy
sources. Not sure how to work a box cooker into this program.
Take a look at:

Sincerely,
Bob Culbertson
