: Senior Module Engineer
: to be located at Manila production facility

: Summary

: This person will be the key technical resource and driver in module
: operations. Reporting to the Director of Module Manufacturing
: Operations, this person will be responsible for the training of a
: new engineering staff plus the engineering aspects of the
: successful establishment and operation of a new, highly-automated
: module manufacturing line. This person will also be responsible for
: the technical guidance and training of a team to support module
: operations in China. This position will require relocation in the
: Philippines (near Manila), but will also require some travel to
: China and possibly the U.S. and Germany.

: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

: Build and train a module engineering team for manufacture of state-
: of-the-art modules in a new factory in the Philippines and support
: of module operations in China. Lead module engineering efforts
: (18 months as an expatriate, or longer under the right
: circumstances) for:

: - Philippines Operations' interface with German equipment company
: supplying portion of new, state-of-the-art 30MW/yr module line

: - Start-up and operation of the new 30MW/yr facility, including:
: - Receive transfer from R&D and take over line optimization
: - Documentation and control of all steps of manufacture
: - Ownership of yield improvement and execution to specification
: - Introduction of new module materials and processes
: - Support of module manufacture in China
: - Expansion and/or transfers to new manufacturing locations.

: Education and Experience

: - At least 2 years hands-on experience with Quality methodologies
: including SPC Experience with state-of-the-art module
: manufacturing (automations, robotics, cutting-edge module
: materials)

: - Experience with manufacturing data analysis

: - Experience with design of experiments

: - Strong engineering leadership and training capability

: - Strong written and verbal communication skills

: - Understanding of basic circuits and material science

: - Mentoring Skills
