We don't use PMDWorks so I can't speak of that. Again yesterday I crashed it, pushed it a little too far and -poof, it was gone, twice. But I find that these crashes seem to happen when I'm trying new things and maybe I'm not doing them the SWX way <?> Once I was tring some fancy surfacing, on a part that had a lot of rolled back features, and in those features were a few 'cherries' telling me of some errors- I was going to fix them later... Another crash was when I was using the new exploded view animation in an assembly, creating an avi, pretty cool once I got it working though.... We've prettymuch commited to 2005, and I haven't found any real 'Show Stoppers', just save often, very often, and hope SP1 shows up soon. Hope this helps, Whit --- On Thu 01/20, < solidworks@yahoogroups.com > wrote: Message: 2 Date: Thu, 20 Jan 2005 15:52:51 -0000 From: "celticgent1963" Subject: Re: Digest Number 73 Hello Whit, Thanks for the quick response! I'm basically trying to evaluate overall functionality. I know there is an issue with SW2005 SP0.0 not working with PDMWorks, which is why SolidWorks pushed out SP0.1 very quickly, but during this intiial phase of testing, there really doesn't seem to be any "showstoppers". Have you encountered any of the "SolidWorks will now terminate due to an unhandled error" conditions (app crashes) in SW2005? Thanks Again, Bill (Celticgent1963) |
