Aurora is about one hour or so away from a famous tourist town called Branson and about four hours away from Saint Louis. Branson was named one of the most desirable places to live in the United States. Here in the Ozark Mountains you will find Table Rock and Ozark Lake near by. Between these two lakes you can expect to see around 4,000 miles of water shoreline. These lakes are famous for their fishing and are often seen on television fishing tournaments. They are so big in fact that you can easily get lost on them. In certain places the water is so clear that you can scuba dive, which I do on a regular basis. The pay rang is between $14 and $16 an hour depending on experience. This is quite good in comparison to the low cost of living.
