I finally retired my Z505-JSK a few months ago after the latch broke. I
decided I'd rather have a built-in DVD drive for traveling and that
ruled out the TZ series. I ended up with a CR rather than an SZ,
electing to save money rather than weight.

But I replaced the latch on the Z505 anyway. I haven't checked to see
whether the CMOS battery kept the date though.
