A probably often heard question....
Where is the best place to get a battery for my Z505he?

Installing Ubuntu 8.x now and looking forward to speed.
Not sure how ubuntu handles battery life thought.
Mine is toast anyhow so I'm corded most of the time.

Actually, I was skeptical, but I figured I would give it a shot... I am not big on buying NON-OEM, but older Vaio are close to impossible to find OEM batteries...

Thanks for that info. For my Vaio 505HE it's a total of 58.00 for battery + shipping and tax (tax in CA is 8% !!) I'm gonna see how it works....

When I did a few years back I was happy with the service... I'd buy OEM Sony batteries, but good luck with that... No such thing with such an older model...

Got my battery, total turnaround time about 4 days. Pretty impressive service. They recommend doing 5 full charge/discharges, after some modifications to lower...
