Looking for Recovery CD's/DVD's for Vaio PCG-FRV31.
I'd be willing to pay a nominal charge for them.

I chatted up the Bozos at Sony's e-support, I've gotten the same tech
before: Fernando, he never reads what I state for the problem and asks
obscure questions that I already described in the original problem....
Frustrating to say the least...

I tell him that I don't have the Recovery CDs and when I contacted
Vaio Parts Dept, they are no longer available. I obtained unit from
someone that wanted to get rid of it, I wiped the drive and just
re-installed with a XP Home System Builders copy, works great!
I am now lacking the Notebook Control for the Brightness / Audio,
etc.. It's not on Vaio drivers site, all of the other drivers are for
the notebook, really weird how they don't put those up though..
