Got my battery, total turnaround time about 4 days.
Pretty impressive service.
They recommend doing 5 full charge/discharges, after some
modifications to lower your low battery alert settings in control panel.

Bettery seems to be working fine, although I have not yet done serious
tests to see how long it is lasting on my 505HE.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'm quite happy!

A probably often heard question.... Where is the best place to get a battery for my Z505he? Installing Ubuntu 8.x now and looking forward to speed. Not sure... 		Emagin

Actually, I was skeptical, but I figured I would give it a shot... I am not big on buying NON-OEM, but older Vaio are close to impossible to find OEM batteries...

Thanks for that info. For my Vaio 505HE it's a total of 58.00 for battery + shipping and tax (tax in CA is 8% !!) I'm gonna see how it works....

When I did a few years back I was happy with the service... I'd buy OEM Sony batteries, but good luck with that... No such thing with such an older model...
