While we're updating the thread, I've read on other forums that
BatteryRefill has stopped answering e-mails and voice mails recently.
Apparently there's been a steady decline in service over time, and now
the suspicion is that they've gone under.

Actually, I was skeptical, but I figured I would give it a shot... I am not big on buying NON-OEM, but older Vaio are close to impossible to find OEM batteries...

Thanks for that info. For my Vaio 505HE it's a total of 58.00 for battery + shipping and tax (tax in CA is 8% !!) I'm gonna see how it works....

When I did a few years back I was happy with the service... I'd buy OEM Sony batteries, but good luck with that... No such thing with such an older model...

Got my battery, total turnaround time about 4 days. Pretty impressive service. They recommend doing 5 full charge/discharges, after some modifications to lower...
