Yes, I agree on the Midi din point you make.
So, to further clarify I am talking about the cable between the AMT8 and my
computer. A DB9 Straight cable.
Now, someone pointed me to the manual, and for the DB9 conneciton on page 71 or
72 (cant remember now) I am having a friend do up a cable for me. I still kind
of find it surprising that a straight cable is not the correct configuraiton.
However, the manual must be right.
But, in the meantime I have decided to use USB which I have also used in the
past with this unit. It has installed ok, but still no sucsess. I am trying to
nail down the problem....
One question: For a Windows XP install which driver pack in 227 is most
appropriate, the NT, the 2k or the 9x driver?
