SoundDiver works fine here on an Intel MacPro. (SD v3.1.0 Public Beta 2)
I also use Logic 8, but you must be aware that SD & Logic don't
"talk" to each other anymore like in OS9 days with Autolink.

There are also certain dangers with the current beta:

Before modifying any sounds or doing edits, you should request all of
the sounds from each of your hardware devices, copy these into a new
Library, and save these as backups.

SD beta OSX can overwrite memory locations on your hardware even
though you do not instruct it to do this. Keeping a backup as above
is essential to prevent loss of your internal presets.

There were also instances where if you opened SD while Logic was also
open, you'd get unwanted transposition on MIDI tracks in Logic. This
could only be fixed by logging out and back in again.

I don't know if these bugs still happen regularly as I don't use SD
much anymore.

Hope this helps...

Colin

I use them together quite a bit, but I am on a G5, not an Intel. Maybe SD beta doesn't install on an Intel processor? -Mark Bradford http://mark-bradford.com/ ...

... Yes, it does, though I installed it back in Tiger days and it still works in Leopard, so I didn't have to re-instal... Not sure if it's going to work with...
