M27 in Hydrogen alpha   Message List

Hello group - 

only one day of imaging in the last 5 weeks!  Ugh.  But, as Paul pointed out the last day was a good one. 

This is M27 taken with a 5nm Hydrogen alpha filter.  The image is just 5x20min with an Orion EON 120mm scope at f7.5.  Guided with a separate guide scope on an Atlas EQG mount.  The CCD is an Apogee U8300 monochrome camera at -35c.  View the image without zooming in and the poor focus is not as noticeable..!  Now if we can just get some more "blue squares"...
