Red Colony is an international organization devoted to developing
methods for colonizing and terraforming Mars. Over the years, many
articles has been written on the topic of colonizing Mars, but unlike
the society of John F. Kennedy the public does not have the interest
to colonize Mars, or to support a space endeavor. This is where
MarsDrive comes in.

Red Colony sponsors MarsDrive as its public relations campaign,
officially tied to Red Colony and its management. However, MarsDrive
does not limit itself to merely campaigning for a single organization.
Participants of MarsDrive find Red Colony to be a good place to do
business and to carry on conversation, since much of the Mars
community congregates there. But the actions and correspondence of
MarsDrive can be carried out without any consultation from a board of
directors or distant advisors. MarsDrive is made up of regular people
who want to go to Mars.

We need your help to make privatized space a reality. MarsDrive wants
to send a private mission to Mars in the near future. We welcome you
to visit our site and join our MarsDrive effort via our forums. All
are welcomed, anyone with special talents in astronomy, space
engineering, marketing, or aerospace are needed.
