Check to make sure your grounded good using the same size wire as your power wire. Have you changed the radio recently... You might have a wire backwards behind the radio... But your mids and tweets would be doing the same even with no amp hook to them. Tell us a little more about your system... Have you wired the subs diff... Ohms might be set to low.

I have a quick ?? I have a memphis amp that I have used but now there is a problem. when my subs hit the amp goes off then back on. I cant understand why can some one explain if I am doin something wrong

Sounds like it is clipping. Try turning the gains down while it is playing to see if it stops. Have you changed anything in the configuration? Have you checked the speaker wires to make sure they are not touching? How long have you had the system hooked up and how do you have the sub(s) wired?

by the way... sony has a p5??? thought rockford fosgate made a p5??? are they

in your case sealed will be much better because you don't have the area for
ported. ported takes much more air space... it's more then putting holes in a
box. you could run one subwoofer ported... but that box needs to be tuned and

hi ive got a 91' silverado standard cab. ive had mulitple systems and still dont

Do you mean dvc (dual voice coil)? Yes mine is a dual 4ohm wired @ 2ohms. My son's is a dual 4ohm wired @ 8ohms (and still loud as heck).

Do you mean 2000 peak and 1000 rms or are they two different types of subs? What brand are they and yousaid they were dual 4ohm voice coils correct?

What kind of amp are you running and what is your subs power rating? Are you running one amp or two or a two-channel?
