I would like to know if there is a method to detect trace amounts of
solid (<0.01%) in a solution, when the solid has no absorption above
190 nm. I thought about evaporative light scattering, but this seems
to be used only as an HPLC detector, not as a stand-alone
spectroscopic tool. Any suggestions?

Nicky.
