A discussion group on schiefspieglers, Herschellian, CHiefspieglers, Yolos, off-axis Newtonians and other such scopes.


Here's an 8 inch Maksutov-Herschelian I made some years ago. It used a wedged corrector made of 2 lenses cemented together offset. It isn't as good off axis as the Chief.
