I redownloaded the .cab installer and was now able to get 4.08 onto my
Q. I like the new views, especially the tree view, which has always
seemed to me a good way to organize lists on a small screen. I had to
import the .vid file off the desktop, and everything transferred.
Moreover, I sync'ed (manually, to be sure), and got duplicates: I then
removed the duplicates from the desktop and sync'ed again, and the
duplicates are gone from the Q as well. I like the manual sync as I
have long had trouble syncing via ActiveSync, so if you just leave the
syncing where it is now, that's fine by me.

I just paid for the upgrade.
