v4.10 but also present in 3.x versions

When I click a row in the Desktop version it fires a system bell-like
sound. Has anyone figured a way to defeat it? I find it quite
annoying and I'm not even sure why they put it in unless it was
supposed to alert me when I walk away from my desk with the app is open
(yeah, I'm going to to do that) and that someone else (while I'm still
in earshot) is messing with my passwords.
