If you are getting an error message from Active Sync, I would uninstall that
version.

To delete SplashID from your desktop:
1. Open the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel.
2. Select SplashID and click Change/Remove.

To delete SplashID from your handheld:
1. Connect the device and open Active Sync on the desktop.
2. Go to Tools > Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select SplashID and click the Remove button, click next.

Then install the RAPI sync version:

SplashID 4.x has a new method of sync, different from that of SplashID 3.x.
We are offering this as an alternative to the Active Sync method because it
was unreliable, especially in Vista.

This version has a new method of sync called RAPI sync - you select the Sync
option in the menu bar of the SplashID desktop. It is not automatic, but it
is reliable.
