I'm trying to help a friend with a problem where continuous (infinite)
copies of help are launching from various applications (Outlook,
Quicken, etc, etc) without F1 or help ever being clicked.

Not sure if something is messed up on the system or whether this is a
virus.

This is a tough one to search for in a browser as 'help' is being
interpreted as asking for help.
