One of the main reasons I continue on with Comcast.net
is because you automaticly get Mcaffee anti-virus
software as part of the agreement and I get updates
at least every day and sometimes twice a day.
It's actually annoying to get so many updates
but better that, then have one of these horrible
viruses, or worse yet, have my machine used as
a zombie and unknowingly bombard other people
with SPAM.
I would have to hear that some other ISP had
this same level of committment to move away
from Comcast.net and it surprises me that other
ISP's, STILLL ! have not figured this out.
And if I had teenage children downloading stuff
from the web, as I never do, this would be even
more importnat to me.

because of it! Can I take that off and put a new spyware
on my computer? Will all my files be affected? I've been
downloading onto CDs and DVDs (info from my computer) -
Is all that info/photos safe and my CDs and DVDs safe?
Please, any information would be really grateful.
