To Squaw Creek Watershed Coalition Members and all others interested in
Water Quality:
I suspect some may have missed this announcement on our website, so here it
is again.
Squaw Creek Watershed Coalition Annual Meeting
Thursday March 27 at 7:00 p.m. sharp
The meeting will have the following presentations:
"Conservation Practices in Iowa: Historical Investments, Water Quality and
Gaps"
by Cathy Kling with the Center of Agriculture and Rural Development;
"Update on the Squaw Creek Rapid Watershed Assessment"
by Tom Isenhart with ISU Dept. of Natural Resource Ecology and Management;
and
"Watershed Improvement Review Board Funded Projects on College Creek"
by Tracy Warner with City of Ames and Mimi Wagner with ISU Dept. of
Landscape Architecture.
These presentations will be followed by a brief business meeting where we
will review our activities of last year, preview next year, hold an
election for the executive board and thank everyone for their involvement.
And, if time allows, there will be some socializing. I hope everyone can be
there, it should be a great evening. Hope to see you there! Thanks.
