With the initiative of Bruce Ewart, the ADRA program in Indonesia now
working with SRI with great results has made a
professionally-produced video on SRI, which is to be available to
anyone who wants to use it, and a different sound-track (in another
language) can be added, with the only proviso that ADRA be
acknowledged as the producer of this video. Our technical support
person, Stefan Einarson, has 'streamed' the video so that it is
accessible at
http://streaming1.video.cornell.edu:8080/ramgen/courses/pbsynapsis/normtest2.rm
To view this, you need a free software program from Real.Com. Stefan
says about this: "People who wish to view the SRI web stream need to
have a program called RealOne installed on their computers. RealOne
from www.real.com is a free program that plays the webstream that put
onto the SRI page. Anyone who goes to the real.com site should be
prepared to ignore the many programs for sale there and the offers of
free trials. All that is required is the "free basic player" usually
located near the upper right hand corner of the Real.com home page."
Sound simple enough?
We will get the Madagascar training video streamed as well. The two
are very similar in content, but the Madagascar one is shorter, more
concise, and the farmer testimonies add to what the Indonesian
farmers said.
