Dear Rajendra Uprety jyu,

I have to say, I was very encouraged by your report! I agree with
your conclusions at the end of your report. It is indeed very
important to distribute information on SRI in Nepali to as many
farmers as possible.

I have distributed the little booklet Chris had compiled and which
was revised in our last SRI Network meeting. It is amazing how most
of the farmers became interested and experimented with it. I just
heard from two people in Tikapur, Far-West Nepal, who tried it out
after reading the booklet I gave them, and said that they got a
really good crop! I asked them to write up a short report, so that I
will be able to share it with you guys in the network.

It is also encouraging, that agricultural institutions become
interested, and that there are plans to include SRI in research and
extension activities.
