your proposal. Hope this will give a big boost to the breakthrough
efforts for SRI in Nepal. I am deligted for you!
Another issue. You will remember our earlier attempt to hold a
SRI network meeting. What would be a good time for a meeting? What
about end of June?
To the others in the network:
please also share your thoughts on a potential meeting. Is there
enough interest in the network for holding one?

I am very happy to share this news about System of Rice Intensification (SRI). World Bank /Nepal was organized innovative idea competition under the banner of Nepal Development Marketplace 2005. My proposal on "System of Rice Intensification (SRI) promotion Project" was among 1137 submitted proposals. At final I was among the 20 winners for 20,000 US$ award. We are going to implement this project in Morang and Panchthar district in June 2005 to May 2006. Detail can be visualiz at http://www.ndm.org.np . Rest all things are good. More in next mail.
