Description

This is a breakaway group which is set up to fill a gap in the existing genre. It is for spelling reformers, would-be spelling reformers, allies and all interested parties, but with a key difference: it will be run along democratic, inclusive lines. We will strive to include the co-operation, in our struggle, of people from all walks of life, abilities and ethnicities, and we shall never hold these differences, and the bounty they bring, to be 'irrelevant.' Relevant polls will not be deleted unilaterally, and without discussion, by any moderator. We shall not make executive decisions, e.g., to drop the word 'simplified' from our moniker, without considering the ramifications on, and feelings of, all those affected. We shall not hold democracy to be a cheap thing/irrelevance, and shall strive to earnestly pursue the common good without fear or favour. >>>>>>>>>>>> Search the web and raise money for charity 'We are pioneers. Pioneering is painful. It doesn't make you pretty. This is why we are virtually all men.' Richard Comaish (moderator and list owner)
