Hi Ed, ... You can convert DSLR raw to fit using IRIS which ISIS will read. (make sure you set your camera model in IRIS so the debayering is done correctly)

First Vega
I took a bunch of spectra of brighter stars using a 135mm telephoto and my Canon XT. The results were OK for a first attempt, I am very pleased with the Star
