Hi all,
Karl wrote about his latest set of confirmations:
"It should be noted that most, if not all,
of the above comets were observed in the SECCHI HI-1A instrument --
even Tony's C2-only Kreutz!!"
Of the five Kreutz group comets the last four were observed in
HI1A but not the first (at least I have found nothing about it).
So I looked for SOHO-1274 in HI1A and found it easily at:
2003 03 02 (0,0) upper left
time x y
104115 974 717
120115 985 709
144115 1002 692
152115 1006 688
160115 1011 683
and certainly more positions.
Actually, all SOHO Kreutz comets of 2007 March were visible in HI1A!
Regards,
Rainer
