Hello folks,
I just signed on to this group and haven't even read all the messages
yet but wanted to introduce myself while I have a quick moment ...

I live in northern Idaho and my family is in the middle of turning
our lawn into an urban farm, or at least as much of one as we can
handle in the midst of the rest of our lives. This is exciting in so
many ways and I am thrilled to get to communicate with others out
there in netspace about the politics and practicalities of doing this.

Besides learning to garden, I tend to my own 3 young boys 35 hours a
day and another 2 girls a few days a week--growing these kids tends
to consume much of my life, but I know there is a world beyond
diapers. I think ... :)
