An upcoming Hotel Project Development Group is looking for a Project
Manager to fill the following requirement and participate in the
project from its inception.
Our client, a design and construction company is seeking an
experienced project manager to oversee the construction of multiple
Hotels, Entertainment Complex, Retail Malls and Tourism sports &
Resorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for site
managing the construction and building works. Key accountabilities
include managing subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety
standards are met, and delivering the project on time and to budget.
The Critical Role: Project Manager
As the Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for
delivering all projects within budget and time requirements, and for
the achievement of project key performance indicators. Managing a
project team, you will ensure the achievement of these project
deliverables and the management of stakeholder relationships. You
will also be responsible for change management, which is critical to
the effective delivery of all the projects our Client is involved
with.
To be considered for this role you must posses;
•A minimum of 15 years experience in management of projects
•Demonstrated ability in the construction of hotels, residential and
commercial buildings.
•Experienced in managing Rs. 850 Cr. projects desired.
•Architectural or Engineer Degree qualifications
•Responsible for a timely delivery of projects within agreed cost
parameters.
•Computer skills (Word & Excel); good written and spoken English
and; experience in preparing concise, structured written documents)
Job Description:
•Hold team progress meetings to resolve problems, discuss actual
versus plans between high profile team, project's sponsor or
stakeholders.
•Monitor and control actual versus plans
•Prepare and maintain budgets and project cost reports within time
and cost constraints
•Assist in the preparation of tender documents, manage tender
processes and assist in the negotiation of contracts.
•Prepare and present computerized budget, forecasts and progress
reports
•Record and keep current inventory of purchases, stocks and expense
•Manage risks and maintain quality control
•Design, coordinated and implement schedules
•Select and hire required consultants, Hire seasonal and full-time
staff, Arrange training where necessary
•Supervise, delegate and direct a staff of 120 persons
•Be good at resolving conflicts & ensure compliance with corporate
and regulatory policies and procedures, safety, building, oceanic
and environmental regulations
•Establish / nurture positive community relations & Organize travel
arrangements and coordinate meetings
•Establish procedures manuals
•Organize commitments or contract procurements
•Handle public and customer relations
•Frequently visit project site
•Award contracts and purchase orders
Essential:
•Experience in Resort Management, High End Properties and with
Celebrity Clients a plus.
•Must be willing to travel or to relocate with accommodations for
self and immediate family. In general, must be able to create a
healthy working environment between subordinates and high profile
team members via effectively communication.
Salary: Should be Rs.12- 15 Lacs per annum + Accommodation +
Insurance + etc.
