Description

This group is for anyone interested in amateur radio communications below 9kHz in the so-called "Dreamer's Band". This includes earth-mode (through the ground) communications, induction communications using loops and radiated DXing using Marconi and similar vertical antennas or earth electrode systems. Cave radio using frequencies below 9kHz is also something to cover here.

Postings relevant to this topic are welcome, but postings about natural radio, commercial and military activity in the 0-9kHz range are also welcomed if of relevance.

SPAM posts and grossly off-topic postings will be removed.

8.970kHz is the main frequency used in the UK and Europe for radiated DX tests.
