The Sumter Digital Camera Club was formed in 2005. The group, spearheaded by local photographer Chris Moore, was started after students in Basic Digital Photography at Central Carolina Technical College requested that Moore along with several class members create a club designed specifically for digital photographers in Sumter. A group for photographers that were using the latest in equipment and software to take, edit and share their pictures.
The purpose of the club is to assist photographers of all backgrounds in learning how to better use their cameras. The club has photographers from grandmothers that like to take photographs of their grandchildren to others that make their living in photography.
We would love to have you join us for a meeting, walk-a-bout or workshop.
