I'm in Mulberry, west of town on Hwy.60.In the process of buying a
Bio150 unit from Utah biodiesel.
Just starting out myself.Bought the automated rig for 2 reasons.
It's idiot proof(lol),and it needs no babysitting.
Produces 40 gallons per 48 hour run time.

I am looking for a 75 second Normally open 12 volt
delay relay. Does anyone know where I can find one
OR what are you using for a delay in the Diesel/WVO
switchover?

Hi,
I'm new to Bio-diesel and I live in the S.Lakeland area. Are there any
Co-ops in the area? I would like to talk to anybody in this area that
is either making bio-diesel or using WVO. I would greatly appreciate
your response.
Joe
Just joined the group this morning and lookin' forward to learning
more about producing biofuel. I'm also interested in starting a
biodiesel refinery operation here in Florida. Looking at some of the
past messages on the forum, I can see that I'm not the only one. If
you folks don't mind me coming on-board this late in the game, I'd
love to lend a hand in the form of knowledge, experience, and
contacts (all of these on the business side, I don't actually have
much experience with biofuel).
I'll keep checking the forum as often as possible in case you set up
a meeting. In the meantime, if anyone has already written up a
business plan or prospectus, I'd love to take a look so I can see
where you're at. If not, I can start working on that once I learn a
bit more about the group, its members, and its resources. Thanks!

I am interested in starting a legitimate co-op in Jacksonville,
anything you learn please post and I will do the same.

I had one volunteer who was going to bring a processor on a trailer for Earth Day for this coming Sunday, but a weird happening caused him to cancel. If there are others who are still interested and can come up with some ideas on what can be used for a demo/display please let me know.

1985 300D VERY CLEAN good paint 180,000 miles everything works, only
one small rust spot on underbody, AC blows cold, excellent interior,
This car been running on biodiesel and veggie oil (or blended with
petro diesel) for several years and it has been the most reliable
vehicle I have ever owned.
Due to family changes, my daughter returned to me another vehicle I
owned that she was using while I drove the Mercedes, so now I have to
sell one of them. I hate to part with the Mercedes but I have no
choice as I don't have room for all of them in the garage and it
would break my heart to leave the Mercedes outside to get rusty.
Asking $4500
This car has been on display at Earth day for our co-op the last
couple of years.
I have not listed it yet, I am offering it around biodiesel co-op
for a few days and then will list it

others would be VERY interested in a coop. I have already invested in

supply for everyone. This is consistently the issue on hand. Please

Aztech HAS been running out of fuel again recently. I went there the other day and they said they have about 8 new people per day coming in to buy and they have not been able to keep up with the demand so they're having their shipments of oil increased. I know it sucks but it's the only option we have to get biodiesel retail in Tampa as of yet. Hopefully they'll be putting out more than they need soon and someone will open a regular gas station with B100. Their fuel is great minus the supply issues.
Here is their new phone number so you can call ahead and see if they have some in stock before wasting a trip. 813.931.1717
Aztech Energy is back up and running. I've been there twice now and they were open and processing B100. They said they will always keep enough in stock to supply individuals and will stop selling to businesses once their supplies drop to a certain level to insure that they won't run out like they used to and have to close shop.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know.

As Susan said, there has been interest in setting
up a bio co-op fro a couple of years. I am very interested in this project and suggest
we arrange a meeting of interested folks, possibly Sweetwater the Sunday
afternoon after the workshop? Mike has a nice place near Brooksville,
that could be another location. I have a 300 gallon stainless steel that was an
old beer brewing vat that could be used. Susan has drafted legal documents already.
So, some of the work has been done but an endeavor like this takes a good deal
of commitment. For a model of a successful co-op check out Piedmont Biofuels.
My number is 813- 931-3333 if you want to talk about this further.

Get in touch with Eddie Reynolds, he says he has space in Tampa and wants to do a co-op. I think he has a 300 gal tank and is currently making smaller quantities. (I copied him on this email)
I have always been willing to invest and draft the necessary legal ageements for a co-op if we ever get it going. I actually had drafted the documents 2 years ago but we never got it off the ground.

Purpose: To gain wider awareness and acceptance of “alternative” fuels in diesel engines.
Main points:
The diesel engine was created to run on a biofuel, not petroleum.
BioDiesel has fewer emissions and is better for your engine.
Your diesel engine is warranted for biodiesel.
Reusing fryer oil from local restaurants is the self-sufficient Conch option
Embracing green technologies is a win-win situation for our youth, businesses and islands.
Method: Pure Fun!
Starting in FloridaCity and ending at the BioDiesel facility at Key WestHigh School, the Biodiesel Rally will make 5 total stops to show local individuals, businesses and policy makers how easy, affordable and self-sufficient it is to use BioDiesel over Dino-Diesel.
Travelling with the Rally is open to anyone with a diesel who already runs on biodiesel or is willing to try it. Sol Atlantic, a biodiesel distributer out of Hialeah, will be traveling with the Rally and filling up any interested customers for a discounted price – First Come, First Served. We guarantee it will be cheaper than Keys Dino-Diesel!
If you just want to learn more about the fuel, talk to diesel owners that run biodiesel, or see how you can get BioDiesel delivered to your door, come and join us at the stop closest to you. We will be at each Rally spot for 30-45 minutes for questions and full ups. Come kick our tires!
If you want to see how biodiesel can be made out of waste fryer oil from local restaurants, follow us to Key WestHigh School, where physics students will show you how they make fuel for our school district!
