Well even if you're not looking for love, and just a bit of fun thought I'd
give you all this tip. So you can stay away from all the BS fake profiles
places. This is what I've been using http://www.connectherenow.info/ytky . No
joke, I've messaged about 5 women close to me and already 3 have responded, and
I am already organising to meet up with one. Not bad for a guy who hasn't had
a date in a while, lol! :)

HI ALL,
For anyone who has an opinion about Bill Clinotn, the scandal,

                                 ICQ FIX
This is something that has helped my ICQ problems alot..
Just follow the instructions and it should help your connections
alot.
         Your Friend,
           Marlene
With the problems we're having with ICQ I can offer one
possible solution. Your ICQ program may have been sent with one or two
servers to use. The thing is there are far more than that. Below is the
list of servers. Here is the instructions to use them.

On the ICQ bar push the icq button.
                                chose prefrences.
When the box opens chose the 'server'
tab at the top.
                                click on add
copy each of these servers to the
address box.
                                Sorry
you have to do this one at a time.
in the port box for each of these just
put 4000. After you do this you
should see a vast improvment in
                                your ICQ
                                connections.

Dear subscribers to sunflowercreations@onelist --
Sorry about the digest mentioned, in reply. We are not a business
opportunity ad vendor. While we accept 8 line sig files to articles
pertaining to topics found at the Sunflower Creations web sites, and
we accept reciprocal linking at Sunflower Creations for business
opportunities, we do not encourage postings of them on this list.
Please join our mmonline or wmncompbiz lists for that type of resource.
Please subscribers, if you post, share information with us. Feel free
to tell us about your web site, design tips, fun or interesting places
you have found on the web, and that kind of thing, but do not post
ads to our list. Rmoval without warning may be the consequence for
persons not honoring this request.

This is a sample letter I send out to people who advertise at Sunflower
Creations. Feel free to use the format, if you have a similar page at
your site. Also check out the info in the sample.

Dear Sunflower Creations' classified ad holders,
This email contains information about a site where you placed a
classified ad, and is not intended as spam. You are recieving this
because your site/email address is listed with the Sunflower Creations
Classified ads page. Contact info and/or removal instructions from
further emails from Sunflower Creations are available below my signature
file and are compliant with the current commercial emailing amendment.

Hello, you are receiving this email because you have placed a
classified ad at Sunflower Creations in the past few months. Our URL is
http://www.freeyellow.com/members/mandyky/page8.html for placing the
ads.
I have been getting many ads without URLs this past week, so please be
sure to include your email address and URL in the body of your ads, if
you'd like them included. Also our CGI bin at FreeYellow has been on the
fritz again,
so if you ever go back to check for your ad, and do not find it, please
email me from the email link on the page, and I will make sure our forms
are working correctly.

Issue #3 of the Sunflower Creations Update/Newsletter is now posted
to
this URL -- http://members.tripod.com/~mandyky/sfc3news.html
and we have free ad space available on a first come, first serve basis,
and we accept articles with sig file ads about a variety of topics.

I have decided to post this update on a web site to save space in
people's email boxes, so subscribing means you get a very short email
twice a month, with a URL and brief intro. Email copies are available
upon request.
Check out the sites Sunflower Creations Creative Concerns at
http://www.angelfire.com/biz/sunflowercreations/ and
http://www.freeyellow.com/members/mandyky/ to find out what sort of
topics would be acceptable for articles in the update, get a free
lifetime web site, place a free classified ad or leave a business
opportunity message on
our message board or leave a note for reciprocal linking in my
guestbook.

Our next issue will be about partner/associate and affiliate
programs that add content and create profit on a web site. All programs
submitted or
suggested will get a 4 line sig file crediting the submitter. NOTE: I
will only be including FREE reseller and associate programs in this
issue.

Our 2 other issues of the newsletters are still online and linked to
this current issue. We also have installed a link to a message board on
the classified ad page for business opportunities and such.

For additional advertising/information, we have created these lists
at Onelist.com.
Feel free to join any or all of these, or check out the topics of each
list
by going to http://www.onelist.com, and searching the last word of the
following URLs to see the topics of each list. Upon request, I will
email
you a list of the other onelists I subscribe to that take ads.**Note:

If God Should Speak . . .
A different look at The Lord's Prayer

"Our Father which art in heaven....."

    ---Yes?

   Don't interrupt me. I'm praying.

    ---But you called me.

Called you? I didn't call you. I'm praying. "Our Father which art
in
   heaven....."

   ---There you did it again.

   Did What?

---Called me. You said, "Our Father which art in heaven." Here I
   am.....What's on your mind?

But I didn't mean anything by it. I was, you know, just saying my
prayers for the day. I always say the Lord's Prayer. It makes me
feel good, kind of like getting a duty done.

   ---All right. Go on.

   "Hallowed be thy name....."

---Hold it. What do you mean by that?

   By what?

   ---By "hallowed be thy name"?

It means.....it means.....Good grief, I don't know what it means. How
should I know? It's just a part of the prayer. By the way, what does
it
mean?

   ---It means honored, holy, wonderful.

Hey, that makes sense. I never thought about what "hallowed" meant
before. "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven."

   --Do you really mean that?

   Sure, why not?

---What are you doing about it?

Doing? Nothing, I guess. I just think it would be kind of neat if
you
got control of everything down here like you have up there.

---Have I got control of you?

   Well, I go to church.

---That isn't what I asked you. What about your bad temper? You've
really got a problem there, you know. And then there's the way you
spend your money---all on yourself. And what about the kind of books
   you read?

Stop picking on me! I'm just as good as some of the rest of those
   people at the church.

---Excuse me. I thought you were praying for my will to be done. If
that is to happen, it will have to start with the ones who are
praying
for it. Like you, for example.

Oh, all right. I guess I do have some hang-ups. Now that you mention
it, I could probably name some others.

   ---So could I.

I haven't thought about it very much until now, but I really would
like
to cut out some of those things. I would like to, you know, be really
free.

---Good. Now we're getting somewhere. We'll work together, you and
I.
Some victories can truly be won. I'm proud of you.

Look, Lord, I need to finish up here. This is taking a lot longer
than
it usually does. "Give us this day, our daily bread."

---You need to cut out the bread. You're overweight as it is.

Hey, wait a minute! What is this, "Criticize me day"? Here I was
doing
my religious duty, and all of a sudden you break in and remind me of
all
   my hang-ups.

---Praying is a dangerous thing. You could wind up changed, you know.
That's what I'm trying to get across to you. You called me, and here
I
am. It's too late to stop now. Keep praying, I'm interested in the
next part of your prayer.....(pause). Well, go on.

   I'm scared to.

   ---Scared? Of what?

   I know what you'll say.

   ---Try me and see.

"Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us."

   ---What about Ann?

See? I knew it! I knew you would bring her up! Why Lord, she's told
lies about me, spread stories about my family. She never paid back
the
debt she owes me. I've sworn to get even with her!

---But your prayer? What about your prayer?

   I didn't mean it.

---Well, at least you're honest. But it's not much fun carrying that
load of bitterness around inside, is it?

No. But I'll feel better as soon as I get even. Boy, have I got some
plans for that neighbor. She'll wish she had never moved into this
   neighborhood.

---You won't feel any better. You'll feel worse. Revenge isn't
sweet.
Think of how unhappy you already are. But I can change all that.

   You can? How?

---Forgive Ann. Then I'll forgive you. Then the hate and sin will be
Ann's problem and not yours. You will have settled your heart.

Oh, you're right. You always are. And more than I want to revenge
Ann,
I want to be right with you. Ann, I want to be right with
you.....(pause).....(sigh). All right. All right. I forgive her.
Help her to find the right road in life, Lord. She's bound to be
awfully miserable now that I think about it. Anybody who goes around
doing the things she does to others has to be out of it. Someway,
somehow, show her the right way.

---There now! Wonderful! How do you feel?

Hmmmmmm. Well, not bad. Not bad at all. In fact, I feel pretty
great!
You know, I don't think I'll have to go to bed uptight tonight for the
first time since I can remember. Maybe I won't be so tired from now
on because I'm not getting enough rest.

---You're not through with your prayer. Go on.

Oh, all right. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil."

---Good! Good! I'll do that. Just don't put yourself in a place
where
   you can be tempted.

What do you mean by that?

---Don't turn on the TV when you know the laundry needs to be done and
the house needs to be picked up. Also, about the time you spend
coffeeing with your friends, if you can't influence the conversation
to
positive things, perhaps you should re-think the value of those
friendships. Another thing, your neighbors and friends shouldn't be
your standard for "keeping up". And please don't use me for an escape
hatch.

I don't understand the last part.

---Sure you do. You've done it a lot of times. You get caught in a
bad
situation. You get into trouble and then you come running to me,
"Lord,
help me out of this mess, and I promise you I'll never do it again."
You remember some of those bargains you tried to make with me?

Yes and I'm ashamed, Lord. I really am.

   ---Which bargain are you remembering?

Well, there was the night that Bill was gone and the children and I
were
home alone. The wind was blowing so hard I thought the roof would go
any minute and tornado warnings were out. I remember praying, "Oh
God,
if you spare us, I'll never skip my devotions again."

---I protected you, but you didn't keep your promise, did you?

I'm sorry, Lord, I really am. Up until now I thought that if I just
prayed
the Lord's Prayer every day, then I could do what I liked. I didn't
expect
anything to happen like it did.

---Go ahead and finish your prayer.

"For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever."
Amen

---Do you know what would bring me glory? What would really make me
   happy?

No, but I'd like to know. I want now to please you. I can see what a
mess I've made of my life. And I can see how great it would be to
really
be
one of your followers
.
   ---You just answered the question.

   I did?

---Yes. The thing that would bring me glory is to have people like
you
truly love me. And I see that happening between us. Now that some of
these old sins are exposed and out of the way, well, there is no
telling
   what we can do together.

Lord, let's see what we can make of me, O.K.?

   ---Yes, let's see.....

This smacks of Robin Cook, and sci fi thrillers, but apparently kidneys
are in big demand on the black market. Please forward this to everyone
you know.... Can you imagine how terrified you'd be if this happened to
you or someone you loved..

THIS WAS IN MY IN-BOX AND THOUGHT I SHOULD SHARE IT WITH
  EVERYONE

  True??????

  THIS IS NOT A JOKE:

This guy went out last Saturday night to a party. He was having
  a
good time, had a couple of beers and some girl seemed to like
  him
and invited him to go to another party. He quickly agreed. She
  took
him to a party in some apartment and they continued to drink,
  and even
got Involved with some other drugs (unknown which). The next
  thing he
knew, he woke up completely naked in a bathtub filled with ice.
  He was
still feeling the effects of the drugs, but looked around to see
  he was
alone. He looked down at his chest, which had "CALL 911 OR YOU
  WILL
DIE" written on it in lipstick. He saw a phone was on a stand
  next to
the tub, so he picked it up and dialed. He explained to the EMS
operator what the situation was and that he didn't know where he
  was,
what he took, or why he was really calling.

She advised him to get out of the tub. He did, and she asked him
to look himself over in the mirror. He did, and appeared normal,
so she told him to check his back. He did, only to find two 9
  inch
slits on his lower back. She told him to get back in the tub
immediately, and they sent a rescue team over.

Apparently, after being examined, he found out more of what had
  happened.

  HIS KIDNEYS WERE STOLEN!!!

They are worth 10,000 dollars each on the black market. (I was
unaware this even existed.) Several guesses are in order: The
second party was a sham, the people involved had to be at least
  medical
students, and it was not just recreational drugs he was given.
Regardless, he is currently in the hospital on life support,
  awaiting
  a spare kidney.

The University of Texas in conjunction with Baylor University
  Medical
Center is conducting tissue research to match the sophomore
  student
with a donor. I wish to warn you about a new crime ring that is
targeting business travelers. This ring is well organized, well
  funded,
has very skilled personnel, and is currently in most major
  cities and
recently very active in New Orleans. The crime begins when a
  business
traveler goes to a lounge for a drink at the end of the work
  day.

A person in the bar walks up as they sit alone and offers to
  buy them a
drink. The last thing the traveler remembers until they wake up
  in
a hotel room bath tub, their body submerged to their neck in
  ice,
issipping that drink. There is a note taped to the wall
  instructing
them not to move and to call 911. A phone is on a small table
  next to
the bathtub for them to call. The business traveler calls 911
  who
have become quite familiar with this crime. The business
  traveler is
instructed by the 911 operator to very slowly and carefully
  reach
behind them and feel if there is a tube protruding from their
  lower
back. The business traveler finds the tube and answers, "Yes."
  The 911
operator tells them to remain still, having already sent
  paramedics to
help. The operator knows that both of the business traveler's
  kidneys
  have been harvested.

This is not a scam or out of a science fiction novel, it is
  real. It is
documented and confirmable. If you travel or someone close to
  you
  travels, please be careful.

Sadly, this is very true. My husband is a Houston
  Firefighter/EMT and
they have received alerts regarding this crime ring. It is to be
  taken
very seriously. The daughter of a friend of a fellow firefighter
  had
  this happen to her.

Skilled doctor's are performing these crimes! (which, by the way
  have
been highly noted in the Las Vegas area). Additionally, the
  military
has received alerts regarding this. This story blew me away. I
  really
want as many people to see this as possible, so please bounce
  this to
  whoever you can.

Is this not one of the scariest things you have ever heard of?

PLEASE forward this to everyone you know.

Hi All!

I am including this article I wrote for the MailClub a few months back.
I have been writing articles for newsletters as a way of promoting my
online businesses, by using signature files.
I'd like to include 3 resources I use to find contacts on the internet,
both for fun and business.
www.sixdegrees.com -- 6 Degrees
www.planetall.com --Planet All
www.freeyellow.com/members/member/ The Mail Club
Feel free to ad me as a business contact at 6 degrees, and if you need
some lists at planet all that are small business or MLM oriented,
please email me off list. I also have a list of ezines/newsletters that
accept articles. Please specify the info you want.
(mailto:sunflwrcreate@...)

UTILIZING RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET

The greatest resource of the net is the "netizens"
themselves, or at least that has been the case for
me. The majority of people I come in contact with
on the "net" tend to be open, friendly, and willing to
share information, ideas, and entertainment. Our
MailClub is one good example of helping others
and ourselves. We may need to read upon "netiquette",
here and there, to avoid unintentional spamming, and
to keep the spirit of openness and friendliness alive in
this worldwide community, that continues to grow
exponetially.

In that spirit, I wish to share information and ideas on
resources, usually free, that I find on the WWW, and
how I use these resources to compliment my business
ventures, as well as to learn more about business in
general, marketing, and the internet itself (and computing).
I have also made some very close friends of initial business
contacts.

Many of our Mail Club members have websites, and are
involved in one or more MLM or network marketing ventures.
I have found ICQ, chat programs (Mirc, etc), and BBSs to
be of great value in finding prospects, as well as encouraging
existing downline people. MIRC would be a great place for
the equivalent of a conference call, and can be downloaded
via http://www.mirc.co.uk . ICQ is more for one-on-one
conversations, and they have a random chat program.
ICQ can be downloaded at http://www.mirabilis.com .
Both programs are free, although Mirc is technically
shareware. I add my ICQ number to many emails I send,
and have it on my website.

Another resource that is invaluable to me, are the free email
accounts such as HotMail. I use these free email addresses
for a variety of purposes. When I create websites for clients
who do not currently have internet access, I set an account
up for them at the free email sites. Free email accounts also
are a great resource of information, as they are free because
they are sponsored by big businesses through advertisement.

Many of the reseller programs I have become apart of, came
from these advertisements. HotMail (as well as some of the
others) have news, entertainment, and FREE classified ads.
YAHOO has a wide variety of services, and has just recently
begun a free email program.

These FREE email accounts also allow one to to keep a
permanent email address, should one move and/or change
ISPs often. I also find these email accounts to be handy in
sorting and storing mail. When I do submissions to search
engines and free-for-all links, I use one account, and another
for receiving various newsletters and announcements, I
also use several other accounts for various purposes.

Many ISPs charge $5 dollars per month for extra email
accounts, so the free email account option is a great idea
for family/roommates using the same computer or ISP account.
Due to space requirements, I will share more internet resources
via nextweek's newsletter. Some of the resources mentioned
here can be found on my website -- SUNFLOWER CREATIONS --
at : http://www.freeyellow.com/members/mandyky/page5.html &
http://www.angelfire.com/biz/sunflowercreations/inetres.html
Free advertising to millions of people:
  Click on the link http://www.bannerpromo.net/freead.cfm?idno=2674
to create your link letter. The system will ask you for your name,
E- Mail address, website, and up to 250 character ad. It will
automatically move up the last four ads and include your ad. Your
ad will be sent to me and the formatted text will be sent to you.
Just forward that text to at least 100 people and the program will
take care of itself. The more people you send it to the more
exposure you will get. if your email does not support the clickable
link go to http://www.bannerpromo.net/freead.cfm?idno=2674 with

Questions and comments are welcome.

Good Evening Marlene:

   My name is Ruth McCurry.
I am a webmistress, have websites on a number of free websites.
Tripod, Geocities, and Free Yellow, just to name a few.
I've only been online a little over a year now. I'm hailing from
San Antonio, Texas.
My domestic partner and I have just received our domain name, and I've
been trying to learn how to up load pages to the new server I've purchased.
I sell hand held self defense weapons for women, and am a reseller of web-
space on the server I belong to.
At present I belong to several lists, and today is the first posting I've
received from you list since I joined. I was beginning to wonder what happened
to you.
At present I'm running our small business from a one bd apt. but we're
looking into purchasing a three bd place in the country, so the computer
and business can have a room all of it own.
I've found it's hard for a woman to run a business on the internet.
Just finished talking to a friend who wants me to make some teddybears
for him. He'll supply everything, and I'll make them, and advertise them
on the internet. Would also have to make up a website for him, and keep it
updated. But he only wants to pay a small percentage of the sales, and to
me with all of the work I'd be doing, it wouldn't be worth it. He was very
upset when he found that he would have to pay to have a website set up, plus
paying me to maintain it every week. Said that wasn't the way he did business.
Gee just because I'm a woman don't I deserve to make a little money also.
Ok, so now I've griped, does anybody else have this type of troubles?

Hi all!
I think I have personally welcomed you all aboard, but if I have
overlooked some one, let me tell you that I consider this onelist
list to be community property. You are all invited to share your
business opportunities here, and your "experience, strength, and hope"
of being a woman in the computer business. Whether you are a
webmistress, an MLMer, or anyone trying to do business on the web, I'd
like to hear from you.. Introduce yourself to list, feel free to post
articles, opinions, struggles with obstacles, and exactly what you do in
the computer/internet field.
I have included a newsletter from another group at onelist, and found
the "mess article" one that I identify with.. The subscription info is
in the letter, if you'd like to subscribe.

Now then,
I'll introduce myself, and invite you all to do the same --
My name is Marlene Jones, and I have been exposed to the internet since
1993. I started out chatting on IRC and am still amazed how quickly, and
sometimes deeply, friendships and relationships in general happen via
the internet.
My business, Sunflower Creations, began in 1992, when I began selling
the handcrafted beaded jewelry that I make. It was an offline business,
and I JUST got my first web site in September of 1997.
I had been thinking of going online with my jewelry for about a year,
but although I am literate to a degree in computers and software, the
term HTML, had me thinking it was some computer programming language!!
And it took many months of searching before I found FreeYellow, and
their free web site giveaway program. They also have the "page wizard"
which makes it possible to make a web site without knowing HTML. This
wizard is the wizard found in Netscape communicator, and I am guessing
they lease that service from netscape.. Anyway, the URL of that site is
http://www.freeyellow.com/members/mandyky/ I also give away free
websites there, and there is a business opportunity that goes with doing
that. But anyone is welcome to get a free lifetime website, and not do
the business opportunity thing.
I have become what they refer to as a web site "junkie" and have many
pages for myself and some I have built for friends and clients. As a
result of promoting my own website, I explored a lot of marketing ideas,
and it landed me a Director's position at TronMalls. The URL to my
online office at Tron is http://www.tronmalls.com/consultants/mandyky/
and anyone who does web design, we are looking for consultants in
hometowns world wide.
In my brief but intense time as a webmistress I have found many
marketing programs to help promote web sites, and things you can add to
websites to make some extra money. I love sharing the info with others,
as well as networking with other business people on and off the web, and
that is one reason I began this list.
Women are kinda of new to the computer arena as far as the internet
goes... I think... and many women can work from home now, and be with
their preschoolers and there for their other children, after school.
I have a 16 month old and love being able to work from home.
I'd like us to address struggles of scheduling and such for other work
at home moms, and share solutions some of us have found in the process.
I want you all to feel free to invite subscribers to our list, post
anything you'd like to about your online business/es, challenges,
ideas, etc. Our subscription page is
http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/wmncompbiz and just forward
one of our newsletter/posts to anyone you think might like to join us.
If we get lots of folks, and lots of posts you may want to go to onelist
and change to digest format.
Once again, welcome, and make yourself at home here. Anyone with ICQ,
my UIN# is 6045550 and feel free to add me to your contact list.
Have a great weekend,
Marlene

~Feature Article~
  Focus on Cleanups
  by Gary Lockwood

We all have messes in our lives. If you have stacks of paper around
your
desk, you have a mess. When you procrastinate on an incomplete project,
it
is a mess. Each time you drag out making an important decision, you
have
  another mess.

Messes are situations of disorder, conflict and incompletion.
Consciously and
subconsciously, your mind keeps coming back to these messes. They cause
you to be distracted, lose energy, break concentration and reduce your
confidence. These loose ends can include finances, relationships, your
workspace, physical well-being, agreements and legal contracts.

We donšt create a mess on purpose. It just happens. We get busy and put
off
making that important change in our office. We dread taking that
unpleasant
action and delay it again and again. We allow an off-hand comment to go
without a response because we donšt want to deal with a confrontation.

On each of these occasions, we leave behind a situation that is
unresolved.
Throughout the day, day after day, week after week, our minds wander
back
to the mess. Because your mind keeps processing this complication, you
do
not fully concentrate on the truly important work at hand. Often,
self-doubt
sets in, causing us to question ourselves. All this eats up your energy
and can
make you feel weary. When you hear people say they are mentally
exhausted, you can bet they have messes.

When you clean up an unresolved predicament, then it stops stealing
brain
cycles. When you resolve the situation, you can move on to new
opportunities. Each time you clean up a mess, you increase
concentration,
  confidence and energy.

So how do you go about this cleanup? Here are a few tips... The first
requirement is to recognize the messes. So often, we keep plugging away
at
our lives without realizing that wešre devoting lots of time and energy
just
coping with all these unresolved issues. In my business coaching
practice, Išll
frequently see clients lugging around twenty or thirty messes that are
complicating their lives. When we begin articulating these loose ends,
we
often discover that some can be cleaned up in a matter of hours or even
  minutes.

Herešs a good exercise to start making you consciously aware of your
cleanup opportunities. On a piece of paper, draw two lines that divide
the
sheet of paper into four sections. In one section, write down all the
projects
that you have started, but not yet completed. This should include small
and
large projects at home and at the office.

In another section, note the projects you have not started yet. These
are the
ones that you have been thinking about or considering, but have not
taken any
action. Use the third section for tasks that you are not doing, but
want to
start. These may include things like blocking off some quiet time each
day,
call a few key clients, write a letter, balance the checkbook, exercise
or read
  to your children.

In the fourth section of your sheet of paper, identify the things you
would like
to change. This may include tasks you would like to stop doing, the
organization of your staff, your working hours, or the technology you
have in
  place.

Everything you have written in the four sections of this paper
represent an
opportunity for cleanup. Some may be quick and easy. Do those right
away.
Others may take awhile. Choose one or two to tackle this month. If you
clean
up a mess a month, you will see and feel a tremendous difference in
your
attitude, energy and ability to focus.

Herešs another exercise that will help eliminate the messes. On another
sheet
of paper, write down the things that you are tolerating. We all have
things we
are putting up with. We endure that sticky computer key because we
donšt
want to bother fixing it. We condone an insolent staffer because itšs
so much
trouble to replace them. We allow a supplier to make consistently late
deliveries because we donšt want the confrontation.

Most of us discover that we have quite a list of tolerations. There are
two
ways to remove a toleration from the list. One way is to decide once
and for
all that we really want it this way. We prefer it. We embrace this
situation and
are happy the way it is.

The other way to get a toleration off the list is to take action. Donšt
put up
with it anymore. Do something about it. Get rid of the problem. Notice
that I
donšt say this is easy. Some of these things have been around a long
time and
take some work and tough decisions to fix. Yet, here again, when you
stop
abiding by unacceptable situations, you increase your peace of mind,
  concentration, confidence and energy.

Clearly, cleaning up messes and eliminating the things you tolerate are
major
steps toward simplifying your life at work and at home. The world is a
complicated, messy place in which to live. Donšt make it any harder by
piling
  on more obstacles.

Take stock of your opportunities for cleanup. Take action to simplify
your
life. Clean up those loose ends. Target a mess a month and feel your
energy
  and attitude soar.

Questions About Spamming
by: Ava Farrington

Why do people spam other people when they know the risks involved?

In this writers opinion stupidity!

It is vital that you portray honesty and integrity to your customers if
you are to be truly successful.

Does spamming portray this image? NO, it is amateurish at best.

There are no several bulk email programs on the market today which will
hide the identity of your ISP. However you have to give some kind of
contact information in the email for potential customers to reach you
and thus they still gain your identity!

Most if not all Home Based Business opportunities on the Net strictly
forbid the use of Spam in promoting their products or services and
people who are discovered will be removed from the program.

This being the case why would anyone work their behind off only to
jeopardize it all by Spamming?

Will we ever see the end of Spam? Not until everyone who gets a spam
message reports the offense and refuses to do business with the
individuals who use spam as part of their marketing plan!

I can't say I have never read a spam email that I received, however I
have never purchased anything from a business that has sent me spam nor
will I ever.

Another question: Why would anyone harvest the email addresses from an
advertising mailing list?

Everyone that is a member of the list can send their ads directly to the
list. One post reaches every member. And to top it off these people have
agreed to receive your ads or they wouldn't be one the list right?

Well about a month ago I joined one such list and within a few days I
started getting from 4 to 10 Spams a day.

How do I know they came from that list you ask? Because I opened a new
email account just for that list, so I could track my advertising
efforts.

I got a few offers that I actually spent time going out and looking for
a different representative of the same company to purchase the product
they offered in the spam.

So you see the Spammer only succeeded in advertising for their
competition!

Do you think that was their intention? I think not!

The spammer got a nice thank you for showing me the product, and was
informed that I purchased it from someone else because I did not feel
they were a trustworthy person to deal with because they spam.

So as they say this is my opinion and you can take it or leave it :~)

Spam is a very hot issue for a lot of folks and being a business person
that has to spend a few hours a day just answering email, I get mighty
sick of the delete button at times.

Autoresponders

I have a program I want to talk to you about that I think will save you
a lot of time and money.

In my online search to find a company to host an autoresponder for me I
came across this program called The Rubberband Autoresponder.

It is a shareware program that you can download and use for 30 days free
of charge. To register the program only costs $24.95. Which is darn
cheap in my opinion.

The cheapest autoresponder I found was $24.00 a year for one.

With this program you can set up as many as you like and your email
message can be as long as you like. Their are no limits (after
registration) on the amount of hits your responder gets.

And best of all you do not have to log on to the internet to change your
autoresponders unless you want to configure it to auto start when
opened.

It is really a great little program. *Deep Blush* I have to admit that
is when the newsletter is so late going out today as I spent most of the
day playing with this program.

HOW TO START A PROFITABLE HOME-BASED BUSINESS

In these days, it's becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet
with just
one source of income. Thus, more and more people are investigating the
possibilities of starting their own extra-income business. Most of
these
part-time endeavors are started and operated from the comfort and
privacy
  of the home.

Most of these people are making the extra money they need. Some have
wisely and carefully built these extra income efforts into full-time,
very
profitable businesses. Others are just keeping busy, having fun, and
enjoying
life as never before. The important thing is that they are doing
something other
than waiting for the government to give them a handout; they are
improving
their lot in life, and you can do it, too!

The fields of mail order selling, multi-level marketing, and in-home
party sales
have never been more popular. If any of these kinds of extra income
producing ideas appeal to you, then you owe it to yourself to check
them out.
But these aren't the only fields of endeavor you can start and operate
from
home, with little or no investment, and learn as you go.

If you type, you can start a home-based typing service; if you have a
truck or
have access to a trailer, you can start a clean-up/hauling service.
Simply
collecting old news papers from your neighbors can get you started in
the
paper recycling business. More than a few enterprising housewives have
found success and fortune by starting home and/or apartment cleaning
services. If you have a yard full of flowers, you can make good extra
money
by supplying fresh cut flowers to restaurants and offices in your area
on a
regular basis. You might turn a ceramics hobby into a lucrative
personalized
coffee mug business. What I'm saying is that in reality, there's
literally no end
to the ways you can start and operate a profitable extra income
business from
  your home.

The first thing you must do, however, is some basic market research.
Find out
for yourself, first-hand, just how many people there are in your area
who are
interested in your proposed product or service, and would be "willing
to
stand in line and pay money for it." This is known as defining your
market and
pinpointing your customers. If after checking around, talking about
your idea
with a whole lot of people over a period of one to three months, you
get the
idea that these people would be paying customers, your next effort
should be
directed toward the "detailing" of your business plan. The more precise
and
detailed your plan - covering all the bases relating to how you'll do
everything
that needs to be done - the easier it's going to be for you to attain
success.
Such a plan should show your start-up investment needs, your
advertising
plan, your production costs and procedures, your sales program, and how
your time will be allocated. Too often, enthusiastic and ambitious
entrepreneurs jump in on an extra income project and suddenly find that
the
costs are beyond their abilities, and the time requirements more than
they can
meet. It pays to lay it all out on paper before you get involved, and
the clearer
you can "see" everything before you start, the better your chances for
  success.

Now, assuming you've got your market targeted, you know who your
customers are going to be and how you're going to reach them with your
product or service. And you have all your costs as well as time
requirements
itemized. The next step is to set your plan in motion and start making
money.

Here is the most important "secret" of all, relating to starting and
building a
profitable home-based business, so read very carefully. Regardless of
what
kind of business you start, you must have the capital and the available
time to
sustain your business through the first six months of operation.
Specifically,
you must not count on receiving or spending any money coming in from
your
business on yourself or for your bills during those first six months.
All the
income from your business during those first six months should be
reinvested
in your business in order for it to grow and reach our planned first
year
  potential.

Once you've passed that first six months milestone, you can set up a
small
monthly salary for yourself, and begin enjoying the fruits of your
labor. But the
first six months or operation for any business are critical, so do not
plan to
use any of the money your business generates for yourself during that
period.

If you've got your business plan properly organized, and have
implemented
the plan, you should at the end of your first year be able to begin
thinking
about hiring other people to alleviate some of your work-load. Remember
this: Starting a successful business is not a means towards either a
job for
yourself or a way to keep busy. It should be regarded as the beginning
of an
enterprise that will grow and prosper, with you as the top dog.
Eventually,
you'll have other people doing all the work for you, even running the
entire
operation, while you vacation in the Bahamas or Hawaii and collect or
receive regular income from your initial efforts.

selling,
order fulfillment, and other aspects of home-based businesses, watch
