Meeting....: Silicon Valley Java Users Group (SVJUG)

Topic......: Metric-driven Refactoring

Speaker....: Dem Pilafian, TogetherSoft

Description: Explore ways to use automatic code analysis to help
determine which refactorings are most likely to improve
a project's software quality for maintenance, performance,
and reuse. Examine audit types and metric calculations
in the context of making code reviews more effective.

Speaker Bio: Dem Pilafian is a Mentor at TogetherSoft and received his
master's in Computer Science from the University of
Colorado.
He was previously a Strategic Technical Manager at Hipbone
and a Product Manager at Calico Commerce. Dem was a panel
expert at the Epicentric Summit and Technology Crossroads
conferences, and he co-authored the
"MD-11 Aircraft Alerting Function" article for the
Scientific Honeyweller.
