Please feel free to forward this to your Java User Group, if you feel
it would be of interest to the group.
I just want to let you know that Oracle is hosting a one day event for
Java developers to get the latest scoop on SOA and Web Services. The
event includes an "install-fest" and hands-on sessions and is a great
way to mingle with other Java developers in the area. Here are some of
the highlights of what you can expect to get out of the day:
- Get Educated--Oracle Developer Days consists of
concentrated lessons in the latest J2EE and Web Services technologies
designed to quickly bring you up to date and up to speed.
- Get Your Hands Dirty--Put theory into practice in an
"install-fest" to get your laptop in shape for SOA development,
hands-on labs to let you practice your SOA skills, and a coding contest
to put you to the test.
- Get It From The Source--Hear directly from the experts at
Oracle. Learn about the topics that matter to you--whether it's how to
work with technology today or how to prepare for what's coming tomorrow.
- Get Connected--Take advantage of this chance to network
with peers and industry gurus--those experienced veterans you always
see on the discussion forums.
Oracle Developer Days launches its tour on August 4 at Oracle
headquarters in the San Francisco Bay area. There's still a few seats
left at this inaugural event, but the spots are not likely to last very
long. You can find out more information and register for the FREE event
