Time.......: November 13, 2002 (the second Wednesday of each month)
Cost.......: Always FREE to all!
Topic......: J2EE Application Server Internals
Speaker....: Vijay Pullur, Co-Founder & CTO, Pramati Technologies
Choosing J2EE platform is an easy decision,
but selecting the app server is much more complicated.
The presentation will highlight the differences
between app server implementations. A close look at
app server internals will bring out where the
similarity between app servers ends and what lies
beyond that. An app server vendor has to balance
between many parameters while implementing the
J2EE specification and multiple approaches are possible.
We will discuss the significance of these parameters,
and pros and cons of different approaches.
