Modis has been awarded several exclusive projects throughout the US with our global computer manufacturing client. As such, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team of cross-functional consultants.

We are currently seeking an EJB/Informatica Developer to join our team of consultants in Palo Alto, CA. This mid-level role will be making simple coding changes to the Informatica environment, as well as to JAVA EJB components.  The primary effort for this role will be the importing of new data and making the necessary process changes to support the new data.

Requirements & Details: 

1)       JAVA/EJB

a)       Mostly EJB changes with very minimal J2EE knowledge needed

b)       Existing EJBs will be modified to support the new data and any necessary process flow changes to JAVA and/or WebLogic will be needed.

2)       Informatica

a)       Minimal coding skills required – basic syntax and simple development – 1-3 years

b)       Detailed knowledge of Informatica configuration tools

c)        Detailed knowledge utilizing Informatica import facilities

3)       PL/SQL and Oracle 10g

a)       Basic INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/SELECT skill required

b)       Most of the SQL will be done in JAVA although there will be stored procedures changes required as well

c)        There will be some transactional processing – i.e. 2 phased commitment

d)       Knowledge of Oracle's JAVA (JDBC) driver and connection pooling a plus
