The sw-gis list provides a forum for developers and system administrators working with Smallworld GIS. This list addresses technical issues concerning Smallworld GIS, such as Magik programming, CASE tool, interfacing to other systems, but also system and database administration.

This list is not for discussion about using Smallworld related applications - there is a separate list named sw-gis-users intended for those topics. This list is also not intended for general announcements about Smallworld related products, companies, or job opportunities. Those announcements should be placed on sw-gis-announce.

This list is un-moderated. Only list members may post to the list. Membership is open to the public, but those who repeatedly use the list for other than the intended purpose may be removed from the list or subject to individual moderation.
