We are very pleased to have two recognized experts to share their knowledge and experience with you: Steve Zemblowski from IBM and Tony Skinner from GlassHouse Systems. The relaxed setting will give you the opportunity to meet Steve and Tony and ask questions or discuss the issues that are important to you.

CICS Transaction Server V3.1

CICS Transaction Server for z/OS Version 3 delivers major enhancements in the area of on-demand access to CICS applications, application transformation and enterprise management. Support for Web Services, new HTTP functionality including outbound support, more OTE exploitation, improved inter-program data transfer, CPSM WUI usability and security enhancements are just a few of the significant new functions in this version.
WebSphere MQ, the de-facto industry standard for reliable, cross-platform messaging that underlies IBM’s Business Integration Broker and Workflow products, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. In June, version 6 becomes available on z/OS, Windows, iSeries, and a range of UNIX variants including AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux, with support for more platform types to follow later in the year.

Steve is from IBM’s Advanced Technical Support organization and provides technical support for CICS Transaction Server and the CICS Tools. Recently Steve has supported the early introduction of CICS TS V3.1 by developing and delivering worldwide education to beta customers and business partners.
