Having problems with message search?
Hi Everyone,
Our next meeting will be starting at 8:30 AM on Thursday, Feb 16 at the IBM office (2929 N Central, 7th floor).
The keynote speaker is Willie Favero from IBM and many of you have heard him at IDUG, SHARE, the Tech Conferences or previous SWARUG events so you know that this will be another great presentation. Willie will be delivering two topics at this meeting; Re-examining Dynamic SQL and Perfect Combination: zSeries, z/OS, and DB2.
Also on the agenda is Ian Bjorhovde and he will lead a DB2 UDB for LUW SIG discussion on Configuring Storage with DB2 UDB.
We will be conducting our annual elections at this meeting so I encourage you all to think about how you could contribute to the group. Your participation is vital if we are to keep the group successful. I have been a board member for many years and I know that the requirements are not at all overwhelming ... just keep the following in mind;
- Candidates should be prepared to say a few words at the 2/16 meeting
- Successful candidates need to attend 4 board meetings + normal meetings
- If you're interested you can nominate yourself when you RSVP or at the meeting
