I promised to share a description for the Data Warehouse Special Interest Group for December 12 when I received an update. Well, here it is!
We are lucky to have Annie Neroda spending the afternoon with us. Annie is a Business Intelligence Software IT Specialist from IBM and has been assisting IBM customers implement BI Solutions such as DB2 Warehouse Manager, DB2 OLAP Server, Intelligent Miner, Ascential Enterprise Integration Solutions and Business Objects for the past 10 years. Before that, she was a DB2 technical instructor.
This session will familiarize attendees with IBM's DB2 Warehouse Manager. It will review the product functionality in Version 7 (Product Integrations, Connectors, tighter coupling with replication and MQ, Query Patroller, new GUI, Metadata advances), and introduce the new features coming in V8 (Extended Platform Support, Information Catalog Manager Re-architecture, DB2 Integration and Exploitation, Functional Enhancements and Performance Improvements).
