SymbOS (SYmbiosis Multitasking Based Operating System) is a new OS for Z80 based systems and is currently available for the Amstrad CPC, the MSX2 computers and compatible systems and the Amstrad PCW range.
SymbOS is based on a micro-kernel-architecture. It provides real preemptive multitasking, a dynamic memory-management for up to 1024KB Ram, a totaly Windows-like GUI and support of hard discs with up to 128GB.
