Thanks for the help Ken.

So I guess it would be fair to say that if an outsider looked at this, that
there is no precedent for the transition that took place here, this is not
how open source projects or W3C or IETF projects fork.

Some people have said that the community decided to go in the direction of
Namespaces and RDF, but it's clear that that did not actually happen.

RSS is an important and valuable standard, I often get questions about its
future. It's quite difficult to explain what happened here.
