From the Shasta Astronomy Club:
To the Shasta Astro Club/Network: Our last star party of the year will be held
this Saturday, October 25 at the Mines, Trailhead Parking Lot at Whiskeytown
Lake Park. starting at 6:30 PM.. The weather might hold for this event. We'll
see.

The session on Sept. 27 turned out to be very popular with the local folks.
Estimated attendence at 80-90 from the number of cars parked on the lot. Gary
and Peter were very busy with their scopes. Many teenagers showed up which is
nice to see. The seeability was a 7 according to Gary. Not bad all around for
so late in the season.

Come out for our last of the year and see the sky and see the people in the
