Without my wife, I seriously doubt I would have gone to the hospital until I had
some very serious complications. I just assumed I had a bad case of the runs,
but she saw signs in my behavior and demeanor that told her rather quickly it
was much more serious.
They took six biopsies of my colon and pathology ruled out Chrons Disease so I
am very happy about that. However, I am still at high risk for recurrence if
don't learn how to balance out my life (diet, stress etc.)
It was a wake up call for sure and with the diet I'm on, for the first time in
my life, I'm beginning to see how food can directly affect mental health and
overall well being.
