Actually I did troubleshoot this problem in my Windows box. Just had to install the East Asian fonts in XP. Tamil unicode works great in Firefox 1.5 and 1.0.7....

Actually it's not dependencies... QT needs to be patched, and kde need to be compiled against that patch... ... Anyway, I've got everything else working on...
