Hi everybody,
similar to fanofdatreo, I would like to do most of the thing related to app
starting in TW. So I started to put all the apps I have (>100) on wheels, sorted
in groups as in a regular launcher. Even though I can leave out a few apps,
first of all not every fit, especially not every category has a multiple of 12
members. Secondly with 8 wheels in use much of the beauty of TW, the quick
access, became blurred, since I hade to switch wheels a lot (even with different
hardware buttons to launch different wheels). One problem with this is brain
overload, since I remember most apps by name, but icons are often rather
similar. So I don't find what I look for (since the icons are not named, I have
to rotate a lot).
So at most I would like to juggle with about 4 wheels (2 for the most common
apps, one with shark links and one for history). For the rest I will be going
back to standard launcher (ZLauncher).
In any case that is probably ok, since to reproduce all functionality of e.g.
ZLauncher (Explorer, Popup menu w/ info, delete, send, move and copy, a trash
bin to undelete...) is going to exceed the possibilities of a resident program
like TW.
Having this said, I still have some thoughts about a QuickFind, but to keep this
post short, I start a new topic for this.
Cheers
Volker

use the standard (or other third-party) launcher just to launch a program. (In
essence, it somewhat skips that time-lagging step of going back to the launcher
to activate an app.)

the option to become) a full-fledged launcher taking the place of the standard
launcher. I mean, currently, when you launch TW there is the home button in the
top left, and if you press it, it will take you to the standard launcher or
whatever you have set as your default. How 'bout making it TW and then you
could also have the option of setting up a wallpaper or background (below the
wheel)?
